Echinacea paradoxa (Bush's Coneflower)

Type: Native Perennial

Flowers: Yellow

Water: Dry to average well drained soils

 

Showy, fragrant yellow (instead of the usual purple) flowers in early summer. Dead flower stems remain up all winter to support birds. Tolerates deer, drought, clay and rocky soils.
