Cornus amomum (Silky Dogwood)

Type: Native Tree/Shrub

Height: 6-12'; 6-12' spread

Light: Full sun to partial shade

Soil: Medium to wet well drained soil

 

This shrub gets its name from the silky hairs under its leaves. Yellowish flowers bloom in late spring and give way to berries that turn blue. Deer, wet soil tolerant.
