Conoclinium coelestinum (Mistflower)

Type: Native Perennial

Height: 1-4' tall; 1-3' spread

Sun: Full sun to partial shade

Flowers: Blue-purple

Water: moist to wet in well drained soils

 

Can spread aggressiely by rhizomes. Purplish stems with showy, fluffy, tubular, blue-purple flowers in late summer to early fall. Attracts butterflis.
