Monarda didyma (Scarlet Bee Balm)

Fragrant leaves are still used to make teas and salads. Tubular, two-liped bright red flowers grow in clusters atop long stems and bloom in mid to late summer. Attracts bees, humingbirds, butterflies. Deer and clay tolerant.
