Arisaema triphyllum (Jack In the Pulpit)

Type: Native Perennial

Sun: Partial to full shade

Flowers: Green/brown hood

Water: Moist to wet sand, soil, and clay

 

A green and brown hood conceals a "jack" covered in purple flowers in late spring. Flower becomes bright red berries in late summer that feed wildlife. Unique, easy to care for.
