Aesceulus pavia (Eastern Buckeye)

Water: medium moisture 

 

Showy, 4-10" long clusters of tubular flowers appear in spring. Smooth, brown buckeyes ripen in the fall. Tolerates clay soil. Attracts Hummingbirds.
